A music and movement programme of creative and inspiring pre-school dance classes which can be adapted to all abilities. Melody Bear’s steadfast determination to overcome any difficulty is an inspiration to young and old. Boys and girls can share in the heart-warming stories of the world's best loved dancing teddy, Melody Bear. Children can collect sticker awards as they progress through the class.
Classical Ballet
We teach children Classical Ballet from Preschool up to Advanced Ballet, with classes offered from 2yrs upward. Children will learn ATOD syllabi steps at a steady pace developing posture, co-ordination, flexibility and self confidence whilst learning in a friendly and fun environment.
Tap
Our combined Jazz and Tap classes are great for little feet that like to beat. These classes are fun, energetic and allow each child the opportunity to develop skills such as flexibility, balance, co-ordination and timing. Tap classes are most often taught in a combined class together with Ballet and Jazz.
Jazz
Our Jazz classes introduce students to some of the latest music whilst teaching students about expression and style in dance. Students will develop confidence, rhythm and style through the Jazz technique. A fun-filled, energetic and stylish class. This is usually taught in our combined classes together with Ballet and Tap.
Hip Hop
Hip Hop introduces children and teenagers to the latest steps and movements in the Hip Hop dance craze. Using the latest chart music, children are encouraged to introduce their own personal styles into the dance class, together with introducing children to floorwork, rhythmical expression and style. No experience required!
Musical Theatre
This class will introduce students to the exciting world of theatre! Students will engage in class exercises which will develop their singing, dancing and acting skills whilst also being fun-filled, exciting and enjoyable for all ages. Students will build confidence in all aspects of the theatre branch.
