	Theresa Hawkins Dance is committed to delivering dance to those people in the community who wouldn't usually get the opportunity to dance. These groups include toddlers, young children and the older adult. Everyone should have the chance to dance and this is the company's aim to make the arts available to all people in the Guildford and Fleet area. Activities range from fun dance and movement play classes for babies and their carers to seated dance classes for the older person. Ballet classes are also held for most age groups. NEWS T-SHIRTS June 2009 sees the arrival of new uniforms and t-shirts in school colours. From this month each student will be invited to purchase and wear a school ballet wrap or t-shirt. Although this is not compulsory at the moment over the next year we will be encouraging you to buy this new uniform when considering new clothes for classes. T-shirts can be bought via the Talaur dancewear website below or by contacting Theresa. Prices start from £12.99. FLORA LONDON MARATHON - April 26th 2009 Theresa successfully completed the London Marathon for Tommy's baby charity in a time of 5 hours 10 minutes. A big thank you to all those who have generously supported this worthy cause. Any one who still wishes to donate can do so online at www.tommys.org/marathondancer All money donated will go straight to Tommy's so that research can be done today to help reach their target of halving the number of babies that die during pregnancy or birth by 2030. Recognised by the Department of Health for our work within the community in helping children to live healthier and more active lives!
